She has had three investment banking internships spanning UBS (private wealth management), FT Partners (financial technology coverage), and J.P. Morgan in New York (syndicated and leveraged finance). OK if you want a very basic introduction to IBanking Internships

I am a college student who is about to start an internship in a top i-banking firm. I bought this book in the hope it would give me some good tips on how to do well in my internship. I didn't find many.
This book does have a chapter with a couple tips - good, I must say - on how to do well in an i-banking internship, but that's about it. The rest of the book covers how women can succeed in the industry, how you can prepare for interviews, what you should study in college to maximize your chances to get an internship, and some other general stuff. You can easily find similar material in online blogs.
This book is ok if you don't know anything about i-banking and want to find a quick way (it takes no more than one hour to go through it) to learn something about the industry.

Hey this is more like a booklet than a book. I don't know why they would publish a book for that much content but apparently I didn't find it useful.

Erin Parker doesnt know much

As a Stanford student, i feel okay saying this:. Last time i checked two mediocre internships and one at JPM never qualified anyone to write a book. This book is only about schmoozing and putting together deal books. No intern ever got real responsibility. Is Erin a banker, an entrepreneur, or a fitness instructor? We dont care but Erin makes sure we see whatever it is she is doing.
