Everything you need and nothing you don't, Grammar for Dummies works.

With this little book and Strunk and White, I feel grammatically safe no matter what I write. The author has great fun with her subject, and obviously enjoys it and her enjoyment is infectious. I read it for the fun of it--NO, I AM NOT MENTALLY ILL--this is simply a great little book.

This is a nice review (or quick reference) book. I do a lot of writing for business so it comes in handy. I would probably be a good reference for students as well.
